Cassette Players
The people in the 90s would cassettes with their favorite music and play it on the go. It's very similar to a CD player, except that you would have to rewind the cassette once it was done. Some cassettes were double sided, so that you could just flip the cassette over and listen to the second side without having to rewind.

Boom box and the radio!
This was the most common form of listening to music, and it's still a big success today. People would buy boomboxes to be able to listen to the music out loud without needing a car for the radio or to be at home and have a radio plugged in. The batteries in the boom box made it portable and easy to use.

CD Players
Once cassettes turned into CDs, a much thinner form of carrying music, people began to use CD players. They were just like cassettes, except they didn't have to be re-winded. CDs were also capable of holding much more music.
